U2008 Bradford Junction To Humbleton Hill Junction - Temporary Road Closure

U2008 BRADFORD JUNCTION
TO HUMBLETON HILL JUNCTION BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U2008 Bradford Junction To Humbleton Hill Junction from its junction with the U2005 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 504 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th August 2024 until the 30th August 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th August 2024 until the 16th August 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U2005, U2007, B1341, U2008 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to excavate to install a pole for an overhead cable. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
