ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

 (DRAUGHTON ROAD, LAMPORT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Draughton Road, Lamport as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Draughton Road, Lamport from Old Road to Lamport Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during post and rail repairs to structure.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 30th August 2024.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Old Road, High Street, Harborough Road, Draughton Road, Maidwell Road, High Street and Lamport Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(HUMFREY LANE, BOUGHTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Humfrey Lane, Boughton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Humfrey Lane, Boughton from Vyse Road for 130 metres.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during provision of a telecom post.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 30th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Vyse Road and Howard Lane.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(YEW TREE LANE, SPRATTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Yew Tree Lane, Spratton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Yew Tree Lane, Spratton from the junction of Brixworth Road to Yew Tree Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the installation of ducting.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Church Road and Brixworth Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(VARIOUS ROADS, NORTHAMPTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & TEMPORARY NO PARKING, WAITING  OR LOADING WITHOUT A VALID PERMIT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of London Road, Northampton as specified in the Schedule below. No parking and no waiting or loading without a valid permit will apply to those roads specified in the Schedule below.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restrictions are required for safety and to stop concert goers from flooding side streets for both concert days 24 hours.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for 2 days.

Alternative route – use Mereway and Towcester Road.

Euston Road, Southampton Road, Penrhyn Road, Delapre Crescent Road, Delapre Crescent, Forest Road, Queen Eleanor Road, Gloucester Avenue and London Road.

Termination points:- Euston Road – Haines Road to London Road. Southampton Road – Haines Road to London Road. Penryhn Road – Haines Road to London Road. Delapre Crescent Road – Pleydell Road to London Road. Delapre Crescent – London Road to London Road. Forest Road – Pleydell Road to London Road. Queen Eleanor Road – Pleydell Road to London Road. Gloucester Avenue – Friars Avenue to London Road. London Road – Gloucester Avenue to Ransome Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(COLLINGTREE ROAD, MILTON MALSOR)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Collingtree Road, Milton Malsor as set out below. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Collingtree Road, Milton Malsor from under the railway bridge.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during railway bridge inspection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Ash Lane, A45, Mereway, Towcester Road, Rectory Lane and Barn Lane.
