What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -

SECTION 14

(HINDLEY ROAD, LIVERSEDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hindley Road, Liversedge from its junction with Dymond Road to its junction with Huddersfield Road PROVIDED THAT

such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hindley Road, Victoria Road, Liversedge Hall Lane,

Huddersfield Road and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will

commence on Monday 26 August 2024 and will remain in force until 13 September 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(FORGE LANE, THORNHILL LEES, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Forge Lane, Thornhill Lees from a point outside Ravensthorpe Quarry PROVIDED THAT

such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Forge Lane, Station Road, Brewery Lane, Lees Hall Road, Forge Lane and vice versa It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 27 August 2024 and will remain in force until 29 August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(PENNINE VIEW, BIRSTALL, BATLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Pennine View, Birstall from its junction with Nab Lane to a point approximately 22 metres before Pheasant Drive PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Pennine View, Pheasant Drive, Pennine View and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 29 August 2024 and will remain in force until 30 August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary) Dated this 08 August 2024.

(VALLEY ROAD, MILLBRIDGE, LIVERSEDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Valley Road, Millbridge from a point outside property no. 69 Valley Road to its junction with Bradford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition

shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via unaffected part of Valley Road, Halifax Road, Leeds Road, Bradford Road and vice versa It is intended that the closure will

commence on Monday 12 August 2024 and will remain in force until 30 August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(LISTING LANE, LITTLETOWN, LIVERSEDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Listing Lane, Littletown from a point outside property no. 7 Listing Lane to its junction with Bradford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition

shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via unaffected part of Listing Lane, Quarry Road, Oxford

Road, Gomersal Road, Leeds Road, Bradford Road and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will

commence on Monday 12 August 2024 and will remain in force until 30 August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(OLD BANK ROAD, EARLSHEATON, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Old Bank Road, Earlsheaton from its junction with Sugar Lane to its junction with Wakefield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Old Bank

Road, Wakefield Road and vice versa It is intended that the closure will

commence on Monday 12 August 2024 and will remain in force until 1 September 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
