(Crawley – Pound Hill: Crawley Lane) 

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Crawley Lane between Worth Road and The Rise.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 12 August 2024 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed. The works are expected to commence on or after 12 August 2024 and will take 2  weeks to complete.

Any queries about the works to take place should be directed to SGN, telephone number 0800 9121 700. Any queries about the effect of the Order on cyclists using the highway should be directed to WSCC, telephone number 01243 642105

(Ginhams Road Amendment) Order 202*

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC propose to make a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce short lengths of prohibition of waiting at all times (double yellow lines) on sections of both sides of Ginhams Road between Ewhurst Road and The Twitten. Full details of the proposals in this Notice can be viewed on our website www.westsussex.gov.uk/tro. The website includes a response form for comments or objections.

Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post. Any objections or comments about the proposal must be received by 29 August 2024. These may be sent via the response form on the website, in writing to: TRO Team, West Sussex County Council, The Grange, Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1RH; or by e-mail to: tro.consultation@westsussex.gov.uk. All correspondence should be addressed to the undersigned, quoting reference no. TRO/CRW2401/RC. Only correspondence including a full name and address will be considered.

(Grattons Drive Amendment) Order 202*

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC propose to make a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce lengths of prohibition of waiting at all times (double yellow lines) on sections of both sides of Grattons Drive adjacent to Grattons Playing Field and around the bend towards Wadham Close.
