What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5900 WASH LANE, HINDERCLAY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5900 Wash Lane, Hinderclay from the junction with Gobbetts Lane for 80 metres eastbound to facilitate fibre works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Wash Lane, Bells Lane, Gobbetts Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/08/2024 -09/08/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Firstcall Traffic Management. Tel: (01707) 244593.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6136 BACK STREET AND THE ROAD FROM HIGH STREET TO BACK STREET, LAKENHEATH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

1. the U6136 Back Street, Lakenheath from Wings Road to Mill Road

2. the U6136 road from High Street to Back Street Lakenheath

  • the U6136 Back Street. Lakenheath from Mill Road to the road from High Street to Back Street. This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes will be:

1. Mill Road, the B1112, Wings Road and vice versa

2. the B1112, Mill Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/08/2024 -09/08/2024 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Suffolk Highways. Tel: 0345 606 6171.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C533 PURDIS ROAD, FOXHALL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C533 Purdis Road, Foxhall from 50 metres east of Monument Farm Lane for 200 metres eastbound to facilitate installing, removing and replacing overhead lines and poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Monument Farm Lane, Foxhall Road, Hall Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C533 PURDIS ROAD, FOXHALL

It is intended that the closure will operate on 07/08/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TBF Traffic. Tel: (01449) 490865.

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C672 valley Wash, Hundon from the junction with Mary Lane for 110 metres southbound to facilitate repairs to gas valves. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be theA143,the B1061. Mill Road, Hundon Road, Kedington Road, Brockley Green Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C672 VALLEY WASH, HUNDON

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C447 LOWER FARM ROAD, RINGSHALL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C447 Lower Farm Road, Ringshall from The Bam to Border Cottage to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Lower Farm Road, the B1078, The Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/08/2024 -09/08/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TBF traffic. Tel: (01449) 490865.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C569 THE STREET, WICKHAM SKEITH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C569 The Street, Wickham Skeith from 80 metres west of the junction with The Broadway for 20 metres westbound to facilitate water remedial worts. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A140, Old Ipswich Road, The Street, Mellis Road, Yaxley Road, The Common, Ash Road, Mellis Road, the A143, the B1113 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/08/2024 - 08/08/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1066 VARIOUS ROADS, WHEPSTEAD, BROCKLEY AND HARTEST#

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

  • the B1066 Brockley Road, Whepstead from Tuffields Road, Whepstead to Bury Road, Brockley
  • the 61066 The Green, Brockley
  • the B1066 Bury Road, Hartest
  • the B1066 Brockley Road, Hartest.

This is to facilitate surface dressing. Other co-ordinated worksbmay also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1066, the A143, the A1302, the A134, the A1092. the B1066 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 16/08/2024 - 18/08/2024 from 10am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3118 GULPHER ROAD AND THE C347 FERRY ROAD, FELIXSTOWE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

  • the U3118 Gulpher Road, Felixstowe from the junction with Ferry Road to Hyems Lane
  • the C347 Ferry Road, Felixstowe from the junction with Gulpher Road to number 125 Ferry Road.

This is to facilitate a telecommunications fibre installation. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Gulpher Road, High Street, High Road West, High Road East, Ferry Road, Cliff Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/08/2024 -09/08/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C407 CHURCH ROAD, OLD NEWTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C407 Church Road, Old Newton from the Village Hall for 60 metres eastbound to facilitate the construction of a new foul water and storm water outfall manholes. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Stowmarket Road, Newton Road, Stowupland Road, Church Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 16708/2024 -24/08/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
