Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Redruth. This prohibition is necessary for gully works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th September 2024 to 6th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.

Roads affected - A3047 Dual Carriageway Eastbound From Barncoose Terrace To Avers Roundabout, Redruth between Tolgus Roundabout and Blowinghouse Roundabout, A3047 Dual Carriageway Westbound From Avers Roundabout To Barncoose Terrace, Redruth between Tolgus Roundabout and Blowinghouse Roundabout, Tolgus Vean, Redruth between Tesco Roundabout to the junction of A3047 Dual Carriageway Westbound From Avers Roundabout To Barncoose Terrace.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Clement. This prohibition is necessary for bridge inspection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 4th September 2024 to 5th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 and 0500, weekdays only.

Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 30th April 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From Foxcote To The A3047 At Whitecross Scorrier between the properties named Rose Villa and Copper Lode.

The Order which commenced on the 21st March 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 13th September 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public during mine investigation works.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
