Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Market Street Falmouth between the properties numbered 22 and 27.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Falmouth) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Market Street/Church Street/Arwenack Street (Class III) between its junctions with Killigrew Street and Quay Hill

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out water connection works.

The Order will come into operation on 2nd September 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 6th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The County of Cornwall (Moresk Road and Moresk Close, Truro) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Truro. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th September 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Moresk Road between the junction of Treseders Gardens and property number 75 and Moresk Close between the junction of Moresk Road and property number 3, Truro.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Agnes. This prohibition is necessary for fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th September 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Rosemundy, St Agnes between the junctions of Goonown Road and Peterville.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Barripper. This prohibition is necessary for burst water main repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd September 2024 to 6th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Springfield Park, Barripper between property number 6 and the junction of Boscarn Close.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th August 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Camborne. This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th August 2024 to 20th August 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.

Road affected - Trevu Road, Camborne from Mount Pleasant Road to Redbrooke Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Truro. This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th September 2024 to 14th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Roads affected - Union Hill, Truro and A390 Between Denas Water And Union Hill, Tresillian for their entire lengths.
