What is happening?

Parish of Yeovil Temporary Closure of Reckleford

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Reckleford - from the junction with Kingston Roundabout to the junction with Higher Kingston. A total distance of 227 metres. This Order will enable Riglift Uk Ltd to install containerised Electrical alongside UK power networks on behalf of NHS Trust.
The Order becomes effective on 8th August 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 18th August 2024 and last until 19th August 2024 between the hours of 18:00 - 04:00 for a total of 1 night.
