Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
B2079 BEDGEBURY ROAD, GOUDHURST, TN17 2RB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2079 Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, on or after 26th August 2024 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Marlingate Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2079 Bedgebury Road, Peasley Lane, Ranters Lane, Rogers Rough Road, Priors Heath, B2079 Bedgebury Road and vice versa.
BISHOPS DOWN ROAD, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS, TN4 8BT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow gas service works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bishops Down Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 27th August 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Westering. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained.
BRICK KILN LANE, HORSMONDEN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brick Kiln Lane, Horsmonden, on or after 12th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Evergood Rest, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Brick Kiln Lane, Goudhurst Road, The Heath, Gun Back Lane, B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Spelmonden Road, Rectory Park Road, Brick Kiln Lane and vice versa.
CLAREMONT ROAD, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS, TN1 1UP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Claremont Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 12th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Grecian Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any eastbound through traffic is via Claremont Road, B2023 Grove Hill Road, B2023 Vale Road, A26 London Road, B2023 High Street, Mount Sion and Claremont Road.
The alternative route for any westbound through traffic is via Claremont Road, Mount Sion, B2023 High Street, B2023 Vale Road, B2023 Grove Hill Road and Claremont Road.
GREEN LANE, PADDOCK WOOD, TN12 6XD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow manhole repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Green Lane, Paddock Wood, on or after 12th August 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Mascalls Court Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Green Lane, Church Road, Commercial Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, Mascalls Court Road and vice versa.
GROOMBRIDGE ROAD, TUNBRIDGE WELLS, TN3 9ST (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Groombridge Road, Tunbridge Wells, on or after 14th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside East Lodge. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Groombridge Road, Bird In Hand Street, B2110 Groombridge Hill, A264 Ashurst Road, Groombridge Road and vice versa.
HASTINGS ROAD & A21 SLIP ROADS TO HASTINGS ROAD, PEMBURY, TN2 4JZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow surfacing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hastings Road & A21 Slip Roads to Hastings Road, Pembury, on or after 12th August 2024 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Henwood Green Road to the junction of A21 Pembury Bypass, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
A21 Slip Roads to Hastings Road will be closed, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic on Hastings Road to join A21 Eastbound is via Hastings Road, High Street, A228 Pembury Road, A21 Pembury Bypass Eastbound.
The alternative route for any westbound A21 to junction of Hastings Road through traffic is via A21 Pembury Bypass Westbound, A21 Slip Road to A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Road, High Street, Hastings Road.
The alternative route for any eastbound through traffic on A21 Pembury Bypass junction to Hastings Road is via A21 Pembury Bypass Eastbound, A21 to B2160 Roundabout, A21 Pembury Bypass Westbound, A21 Slip Road to A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Road, High Street, Hastings Road.
SHIRLEY GROVE, RUSTHALL, TN4 8TQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow disconnection and installation of new underground service cables, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shirley Grove, Rusthall, on or after 12th August 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 17. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained at all times.
