Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
A227 WROTHAM ROAD, BOROUGH GREEN, TN15 8AD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow stopcock replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A227 Wrotham Road, Borough Green, on or after 28th August 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Sainsbury’s Local, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A227 Wrotham Road, A227 Borough Green Road, A227 Wrotham Bypass, A20 London Road, A20 Wrotham Heath Roundabout, A20 London Road, A25 Maidstone Road, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A227 Western Road, A227 Wrotham Road and vice versa.
B2016 SEVEN MILE LANE, WROTHAM, TN15 7SA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new HV cable installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Wrotham, on or after 15th August 2024 for up to 16 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of A20 London Road and Teston Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2016 Seven Mile Lane, A20 London Road, A20 Ashton Way, A228 Ashton Way, A228 Malling Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane and vice versa.
CHURCH ROAD, OFFHAM, ME19 5NY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To implement a new school zone layout, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Offham, on or after 13th August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Offham Primary School. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Church Road, A20 London Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Teston Road, Church Road and vice versa.
DICKENS DRIVE, EAST MALLING, ME19 6HD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow gas main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dickens Drive, East Malling, on or after 30th August 2024 for up to 48 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Hardie Close and Temple Way. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dickens Drive, Howard Road, Temple Way and vice versa.
VIGO HILL, TROTTISCLIFFE, ME19 5ER (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow fibre cable installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vigo Hill, Trottiscliffe, on or after 12th August 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A227 Gravesend Road and Pilgrims Way, between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Taylors Lane, Ford Lane, A20 London Road, A20 Wrotham Heath Roundabout, A20 London Road, A20 Gravesend Road and vice versa.
