Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulator Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

ASHMANHAUGH - Stone Lane from its junction with Crowgate Street for 100m north eastwards to facilitate sewer lining works from 16th to 23rd August 2024 (may continue until 4th October 2024). BACTON - Hall Road from 200m southwest of its junction with Rectory Road for 150m south westwards to facilitate telegraph pole replacement between 08:30 and 14:30 on the 14th August 2024 (may continue until the 25th September 2024). CANTLEY, LIMPENHOE AND SOUTHWOOD - 1) The Common from its junction with Oaks :arm Lane for 125m northwards and 125m southwards and 2) Oaks Farm Lane from its junction with The Common for 100m westwards to facilitate pole replacement, tree trimming and fibre nstallation from 14th to 16th August 2024 (may continue until 27th September 2024). Alternative route is via: The Common, Chapelfield, The Green, Lower Green, Reedham Road, Porters Road, Grove Road (Beighton, Cantley, Limpenhoe and Southwood, Freethorpe).

CAWSTON - Norwich Road from its junction with B1145 Aylsham Road to its junction with New Street to facilitate damaged carriageway resurfacing on the 12th August 2024 (may continue unti 23rd September 2024). Alternative route is via: B1145 Aylsham Road, New Street.'

COLTISHALL - 1) Rectory Road from 90m north of its junction with Westbourne Road for 30m northwards and 2) Rectory Road from its junction with Westbourne Road for 90m northwards and 3) Rectory Road from 120m north of its junction with Westbourne Road to its junction with The Hill to facilitate works for a new electrical connection, the Road 1) will be temporarily closed/ restricted (except for pedestrian access) and the Road 2) and the Road 3) shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (northbound) from 12th to 16th August 2024 (may continue until 27th September 2024). Alternative route is via: Rectory Road, B1150 North Walsham Road/Station Road/High Street, B1354 Church Street, Rectory Road.

GREAT YARMOUTH - Victoria Road from its junction with Duncan Road for 30m north eastwards to facilitate pole replacement works between 09:30 and 15:30 on the 14th August 2024 (may continue until 25th September 2024). Alternative route is via: Nelson Road Central, St Peters Road, Wellington Road, Victoria Road.

HELLESDON AND HORSFORD - Reepham Road from its junction with Middletons Lane to its junction with Brewery Lane to facilitate Norfolk County Council surface dressing works from 10th to 22nd August 2024 only whilst signs indicating closure are in place (may continue until the 3rd October 2024). Alternative route is via: Reepham Road, Middletons Lane, A140 Holt Road/Cromer Road, A1270 Broadland Northway, Brewery Lane, Reepham Road (Horsham St. Faith and Newton St. Faith, Hellesdon, Horsford).

OULTON - 1) Heydon Road from its junction with The Street for 80m eastwards and 2) The Street from 20m south of its junction with Heydon Road for 30m northwards to facilitate patching works from 15th to 16th August 2024 (may continue until 27th September 2024). SKEYTON - North Walsham Road from its junction with Felmingham Road for 50m north eastwards to facilitate works for a new water connection from 12th to 16th August 2024 (may continue until 27th September 2024). HORSHAM AND NEWTON ST. FAITHS - West Lane/Blind Lane from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Back Street to facilitate Norfolk County Council footway slurry surfacing works from 5th to 7th August 2024 (may continue until 18th September 2024). Alternative route is via: Church Street, Crown Road, Back Street.

LUDHAM - School Lane from 77m southwest of its junction with Turf Fen Lane for 10m south westwards to facilitate BT telegraph pole testing on the 7th August 2024 (may continue until 18th September 2024). Alternative route is via: School Road, Pound Lane, Norwich Road.

MORTON-ON-THE-HILL - The Street from its junction with A1067 Fakenham Road for 200m north westwards to facilitate CityFibre new duct installation from 5th to 7th August 2024 (may continue until 18th September 2024). Alternative route is via: A1067 Fakenham Road.

ORMESBY BY ST. MARGARET WITH SCRATBY - Decoy Road from its junction with North Road for 30m westwards to facilitate sink hole investigation works from 27th July to 31st August 2024 (previously 29th June to 26th July 2024). Alternative route is via: North Road, West Road, Cromer Road, A149 Main Road, Decoy Road (Ormesby St. Margaret with Scratby, Ormesby St. Michael).

REEDHAM - School Road/Whitwell Road/Whitewell Common/Nowhere Lane from its junction with B1145 Dereham Road to its junction with A1067 Sparham Hill to facilitate CityFibre installation of chamber covers, blockage clearance and route proving from 8th to 30th August 2024 only whilst signs indicate closures are in place (may continue until 28th February 2025). Aternatve route is via: A1067 Sparham Hill/Main Road/Fakenham Road, B1145 Norwich Road/ Reepham Road/Bawdeswell Road/Dereham Road (Bawdeswell, Sparham, Reepham).

REEPHAM - B1145 Dereham Road from 90m west of its junction with Park Lane to its junction wth Kerdiston Road to facilitate vehicular access for works vehicles as required by a safety audt. The Road will be temporarily subject to a 30mph speed restriction from 23rd August 2024 to 22nd August 2028. Aternatve route is via: N/A.

RINGLAND - The Street from its junction with Weston Road for 50m northwards to facilitate Anglian Water works for a new water connection from 5th to 7th August 2024 (may continue until 18th September 2024). Alternative route is via: Honingham Lane, Weston Road, Church Hill Lane, Honingham Road, Woodforde Close, Church Street, Marl Hill Road, Marl Hill, Ringland Lane, The Street (Ringland, Morton on the Hill, Weston Longville).

SOUTH WALSHAM - Upton Road from its junction with Mill Road for 270m northwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council carriageway patching works from 7th to 8th August 2024 (may continue until 19th September 2024). Alternative route is via: Upton Road, Field Road, Acle Road, Mill Road.

THORPE ST. ANDREW - A1042 Yarmouth Road from its junction with A1042 Ring Road to its junction with Old Chapel Way to facilitate Norfolk County Council carriageway resurfacing between 19:00 and 06:00 from 5th to 9th August 2024 (may continue until 20th September 2024) Alternative route is via: A1042 Yarmouth Road, A1194 Broadland Way/Poppy Way, A1270 Broadland Northway, A1151 Wroxham Road, A1042 Mousehold Lane/Heartsease Lane/ St Williams Way/Saint Williams Way/Ring Road.

WARHAM - Chapel Street/Stiffkey Road from its junction with Park Road for 50m south-westwards to facilitate installation of mains services. The Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 25th July 2024 that the road will be temporarily closed from 30th July to 30th August 2024 (previously 25th to 29th July 2024) (may continue until 21st January 2025). Alternative route is via: Stiffkey Road, Coast Road, Warham Road, Wells Road, The Street

Chapel Street/Stiffkey Road from its junction with Park Road for 50m south-westwards to facilitate installation of mains services. The Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 25th July 2024 that the road will be temporarily closed from 30th July to 30th August 2024 (previously 25th to 29th July 2024) (may continue until 21st January 2025). Alternative route is via: Stiffkey Road, Coast Road, Warham Road, Wells Road, The Street

(Warham, Wells-Next-the-Sea).

BROOKE - Howe Lane from its junction with B1332 Norwich Road for 50m westwards to facilitate Anglian Water new connection works from 6th to 8th August 2024 (may continue until 19th September 2024). Alternative route is via: B1332 Norwich Road/Bungay Road, C187 Shotesham Road, Howe Lane and vice versa (Poringland, Brooke, Howe).

ELSING - U35062/C212 Mill Street from 571m north of its junction with C212 Heath Road for 600m north-eastwards to facilitate CityFibre Metro Networks Ltd duct installation works from 5th to 13th August 2024 (may continue until 24th September 2024). Alternative route is via: 1) C212 Rectory Road, C212/C198 Heath Road, Elsing Road/Fustyweed and vice versa. 2) C12 Mill Street, C216 Lime Kiln Road, A1067 Main Road, C198 Lyng Road/The Street/The Common, Elsing Road/Fustyweed and vice versa (Lyng, Elsing, Bylaugh, Sparham).

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months for vehicular highway or 6 months for non-vehicular highway.
