ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

CLIFTON ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecom works on behalf of Vodafone, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Clifton Road, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Clifton Road will be closed at its junction with Selhurst Road.

3. During the closure the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Selhurst Road, Prince Road, Clifton Road and reversed, as appropriately signposted.

4. The Order will come into operation on 05 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out in five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984 SECTION 14. AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING COULSDON ROAD AREA - COULSDON ROAD. NINEHAMS ROAD JUNCTIONS. MACAULAY ROAD. NINEHAMS ROAD. STITES HILL ROAD & BUXTON LANE

1. Croydon Council, with the agreement of Surrey County Council, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate essential drainage works in Coulsdon Road they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in the roads listed in the Schedules to this notice.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) The roads listed in Column 1 of Schedule 1 to this notice will be closed as detailed in Column 2 of that Schedule.

b) Parking in the roads listed in the Schedule 2 to this notice will be prohibited and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the locations specified in Column 2 of that Schedule.

c) A width restriction prohibiting vehicles with a width in excess of 6 feet 6 inches (or 1.98 metres) from proceeding in either direction will apply to the road listed in Schedule 3 to this notice.

d) A speed limit of 20MPH will apply to the length of road listed in Schedule 4 to this notice.

e) Vehicles with a maximum gross weight of 3.5 tonnes or more will be prohibited from the roads listed in Schedule 5 to this notice.

3. During the works the alternative route for diverted traffic will be as described below and appropriately signposted.

* Via Coulsdon Road, Marlpit Lane, Farthing Way, Brighton Road, Purley Cross, A22 Godstone Road, Wapses Lodge roundabout, Croydon Road, Station Avenue, Church Hill, Church Road, High Street, Townend, Banstead Road and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 15 August 2024 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 19 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

(c) Any vehicle being used to carry out the works.

(d) Refuse vehicles carrying out refuse collections, or vehicles being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency (such as the loss of utility supplies to premises in the area, which requires vehicles to be brought into a section of road to which the order applies).

RIDDLESDOWN ROAD. PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to kerbs and the installation of a traffic island, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Riddlesdown Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Riddlesdown Road will be closed at its junction with Brighton Road.

3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be via A235 Brighton Road, A22 Godstone Road, Downs Court Road, Mitchley Avenue and Riddlesdown Road, or via Purley Downs Road, A235 Brighton Road south bound, A22 Purley Cross, A23, A22, and A235 Brighton Road North bound, as appropriately signed.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

5. The Order will come into operation on 19 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within seven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEEVAN ROAD. CROYDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Teevan Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Teevan Road will be closed between its junctions with Blackhorse Lane and Teevan Close.

b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions prohibiting parking at any time will apply in the above section of Teevan Road.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road, Blackhorse Lane, Teevan Road, and reversed, as appropriately signposted.

4. The Order will come into operation on 19 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out in four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle involved in carrying out the work.

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
