What is happening?

(Crow Lane, Weeley)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crow Lane, Weeley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 360m north of its junction with Thorpe Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th August 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10004030 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while culvert strengthening works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Crow Lane, Thorpe Road, Tendring Road, Colchester Road, Thorpe Road, Crow Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of London Road, Marks Tey in the City of Colchester, from its junction with A120 J A12 East Roundabout for a distance of approximately 460m in both directions.
2. The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restriction is scheduled to commence on 18th August 2024 for 1 day and again 1st September 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (FN40670680220 - National Highways). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce to aid traffic flow while works are undertaken by National Highways on A12.
The Order will come into effect on 8th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Way, Colchester)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Way, Colchester in the City Of Colchester, from its junction with Brick Kiln Road for a distance of approximately 65m in both directions. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th August 2024 for 2 nights (23.00-06.00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701LTN1-51-58-270824 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bergholt Road, Myland in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 130m south east of its junction with Three Crowns Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (XJ002COC12393-WHP3UK-SL3 - Hutchison 3G Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while investigation and fault repair works are undertaken by Hutchison 3G Ltd.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Honeysuckle Way, Colchester in the City of Colchester from a point approximately 45m north east of its junction with Acacia Avenue for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WF9KR79M02 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new pole installation works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Honeysuckle Way, Cypress Grove, Magnolia Drive, Acacia Avenue and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 25th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)
Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of St Johns Close, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with St Johns Road to its junction with Evergreen Drive a distance of approximately 170m.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of St Johns Close, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with St Johns Road to its end for the duration of the above closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2024 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2366922 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via St Johns Close, Ipswich Road, St Johns Road Roundabout, St Johns Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 1st August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Order (No.17) 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the City of Colchester as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway in those lengths of road in the schedule for the duration of the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the City of Colchester as specified in schedule 1 to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road and those in schedule 1 and 2 for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
