Various Roads - Road To Be Closed For Works
What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 not less than seven days from the date hereof the Highway Authority being satisfied that access to the said road should be prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road.
The effect of the Order, which will come into effect on 12th August 2024, will be to temporarily close the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below at such times as traffic management signs may be erected to notify highway users of the closure. It is expected that works will be carried out between approximately 12th August 2024 and 7th October 2024 . The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads - Bank Terrace, Manor Cottages, Middle Bank, unnamed road opposite Manor Cottages leading to North Close (west junction), Unnamed road opposite Middle Bank leading to North Close (east junction), Thorpe Thewles. 5th August 2024
