Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of
Through Traffic Order 2024 – All Saints Road. Ref: 25-071
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as All Saints Road, as lies between Dogsthorpe Road and Park Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Dogsthorpe Road, Princes Street, Park Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 07/08/2024 and will continue until the new water connection works have been completed or until the 06/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Tallington Road, Bainton,
Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through
Traffic Order 2024. Ref: 25-086
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Tallington Road, Bainton as lies between points 20 Metres either side of Bainton Village Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Tallington Road, B1443 Helpston Rd, King St, West St, Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, A1175 Stamford Rd and vice versa.The proposed Order will come into force on the 04/08/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing test works have been completed or until the 03/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:00hrs on the 04/08/2024 to 06:00hrs on the 05/08/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as 229 Dogsthorpe Road, Millfield, as lies between Chantry Close and Alexandra Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Park Road, Queens Drive West and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 04/08/2024 and will continue until the chamber cover and frame replacement works have been completed or until the 03/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Traffic Order – Linkside footpath – 2024. Ref: 25-072
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycleway known as Linkside footpath, as lies between Bretton Way and Outfield footway. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycleway. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is: Bretton Way, Linkside and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14/08/2024 and will continue until the electrical connection works have been completed or until the 07/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Crawthorne Road, as lies between Cathedral Green Court and Stanley Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Broadway, Eastfield Road and vice versa and Broadway, Northminster, New Road. The proposed order will come into force on the 11/08/2024 and will continue until the pipework replacement works have been completed or until the 10/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place on the 11/08/2024 and the 18/08/2024, between 08:00hrs – 18:00hrs. The proposed order will come into force on the 12/08/2024 and will continue until the water main diversion works have been completed or until the 11/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Notice 2024. Ref: 25-111
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Nene Parkway Roundabout 31 Northbound On Slip Road, for its entire length. No properties are affected by this notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Nene Parkway (south), J3 roundabout, Nene Parkway (north). This notice is made in the interest of drainage investigation works and will remain effective for no more than 5 nights from 05/08/2024. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform.
