TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON CHADDESDEN LANE, DERBY

Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
WHEN: 21 July 2024 to 3 September 2024 WHERE: Chaddesden Lane, at its junction with Nottingham Road REASON: Construction work ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nottingham Road – Chaddesden Park Road – Max Road – Wood Road – Chaddesden Lane and the same in the opposite direction

WHEN: 19 August 2024 to 06 September 2024 WHERE: Uttoxeter New Road Royal Derby Pedestrian Subway from access nearest to Beafeater Pub to access from Royal Derby Hospital REASON: Subway works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:Uttoxeter New road Toucan Pedestrian Crossing nearest to Aldi Supermarket to Toucan Pedestrian Crossing closest to main entrance of Royal Derby Hospital 

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON BRACKENS LANE, STANLEY ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 21 August 2024 to 22 August 2024 WHERE: Brackens Lane and Stanley Road, a distance of approximately 20 metres either side of its junctions. REASON: Carriageway works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Brackens Lane – Upper Moor Road – Chellaston Road –Boulton Lane – Crayford Road – Brackens Lane and the same in the opposite direction. Stanley Road – Harvey Road – Matthew Street – Brackens Lane and the same in the opposite direction

Derby City Council (Raynesway) (Speed) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No. 15) Order 2023
Derby City Council has made this Traffic Regulation Order on 1st August 2024, which comes into effect on 5th August 2024 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III if schedule 9 to the 1984 Act.

The purpose of this order is to introduce the following restriction at the location stated below:

Revocation of 50mph Speed Limit:
• On Raynesway, on both sides of the dual carriageway from outside the Aspen Court Nursing Home to the garage. The speed limit will revert back to 30mph.

Copies of the Order and a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be inspected online at https://www.derby.gov.uk/tro

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the Acts or because it does not comply with any requirement or regulations made under it, may, within six weeks of the date of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
