(THTTC3511 CHEW HILL, CHEW MAGNA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Chew Hill, Chew Magna from its junction with Spratts Bridge extending south to its junction with Silver Street. USRN: 47916448.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out CCTV jetting and surveying of public sewers to determine cause of repeat flooding on the 5th August 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS between 08:30 - 16:00hrs only.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Pagans Hill, Chew Stoke from its junction with Chillyhill Lane extending north to its junction with Scot Lane. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out a pole replacement on the 21st August 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. 
This is anticipated to be for TWO DAYS between 08:30 - 15:30hrs only.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to lay a new gas service to property on the 6th August 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out blockage clearance works on the 20th August 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWO NIGHTS between 22:00 - 06:00hrs only.
