HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Prifyrdd ar gyfer Maesteg drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Trafg Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a holl bwerau galluogi eraill, wedi gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn cau’r llwybr cerdded a amlinellir yn yr atodlen isod dros dro. Mae’r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd wrth i’r bont droed gael ei hail osod. Daw’r Gorchymyn hwn i rym ar 08/08/2024 a rhagwelir y bydd yn weithredol o 08/08/2024 am gyfnod o 3 wythnos neu hyd at uchafswm o 6 mis hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau. Amserlen - Ni chaif unrhyw un fynd ar hyd yr adran hon o’r bont droed ar Lwybr Cerdded 23c Maesteg i gyfeiriad y gogledd ddwyrain am oddeutu 5 medr.

Mae’r llwybr arall yn rhedeg o ochr gogledd ddwyrain y Bont Droed ar Lwybr Cerdded 23c Maesteg i gyfeiriad y gogledd ddwyrain ac yna’r de ddwyrain am oddeutu 327 medr ac yna’n mynd yn ei faen i gyfeiriad y gorllewin, de orllewin ar hyd Llwybr Cerdded 79 Maesteg am oddeutu 163 medr ac yn mynd yn ei faen i gyfeiriad y gogledd, gogledd orllewin ar hyd Llwybr Cefylau 77 Maesteg am oddeutu 234 medr gan ddod i ben ar ochr de orllewin y Bont Droed ar Lwybr Cerdded 23c Maesteg.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 23c MAESTEG) TEMPORARY FOOTPATH ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Maesteg in exercise of its powers under Secton 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulaton Act 1984 (as amended), and all other enabling powers, have made an Order which temporarily closes the footpath set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary in the interest of public safety whilst the footbridge is being replaced. The Order will come into force on the 08/08/2024 and it is antcipated to be in operaton from the 08/08/2024 for a 3 week period or untl such tme the works are completed up to a maximum period of 6 months. Schedule - No person shall proceed along that secton of the footbridge on Footpath 23c Maesteg proceeding in a north easterly directon for approximately 5 metres. The alternatve route runs from the north eastern end of the Footbridge on Footpath 23c Maesteg proceeding in a north easterly, then south easterly directon for approximately 327 metres then contnues in a west, south westerly directon along Footpath 79 Maesteg for approximately 163 metres and proceeds in a north, north westerly directon along Bridleway 77 Maesteg for approximately 234 metres terminatng at the south western end of the Footbridge on Footpath 23c Maesteg.
