What is happening?

WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL

(U999 FINKLE STREET, KENDAL)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the U999 Finkle Street, Kendal, from a point approx. 25m north east of its junction with Stramongate, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 25m.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

There is no suitable alternative route available.

The Order will come into operation on 5th August 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 1 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
