Cambridge Street - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic For Demolition Work

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle to proceed in a south westerly direction along Cambridge Street between its junction with Brindley Drive and its junction with Lyon Queensway.
The temporary Order is required to facilitate demolition work to a structure adjacent to the highway, in safety.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 5th August 2024 and will remain in force for a period of 8 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
