U6705 BRIARDENE ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6705 Briardene Ashington from its Junction with Stonecross heading south for a distance of 115 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd August 2024 until the 30th August 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 23rd August 2024 between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00; however, the order will remain in place until 30th August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Green Lane, Blackthorn Way and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Elev8 on behalf of BT to upgrade mobile telecommunications equipment on columns. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
