B1319 Dudley Lane - Temporary Road Closure

B1319 DUDLEY LANE, CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1319 Dudley Lane from it’s junction with Northumberland Business Park West roundabout heading north on the northbound carriageway for a distance of 167 metres, circling the roundabout and heading south on the southbound carriageway for a distance of 355 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 21st August 2024 until the 16th March 2025.
It is anticipated that the works will commence on the 1st October 2024 until the 3rd October 2024 between the hours of 9:00 and 15:00.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Dudley Lane, Northumbrian Road, Village Road, High Pitt Road and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, namely to complete carriageway resurfacing works. To minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order, and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
