(HARDWICK LANE, WEST HARDWICK) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 162) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to excavate & install
ducting to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Hardwick Lane, West Hardwick from Hardwick Lane to the junction of Hill Top Lane. The Order shall also have the effect
of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Hardwick Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, vehicles will have marshalled access through the site.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 5th August 2024 to 7th August 2024 08.00 hours to 17.00 hours, or until completion of the work,
whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(GEORGE LANE, NOTTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 163) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for a new supply
connection to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: George Lane, Notton.
The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of George Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Bleakley Lane, Notton Lane, High Street, Lee Lane, Barnsley Road & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 6th August 2024 at 08.00 hours to 8th August 2024 at 20.00 hours, or until completion of the
work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(WAKEFIELD ROAD, OSSETT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 164) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for resurfacing works to be
carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Wakefield Road, Ossett between Goldsmith Avenue and Queens Drive.
The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Wakefield Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Inbound & Outbound diversion – Albert Drive, Goldsmith Avenue.
Access to properties will be maintained via the fronts of the houses.
Queens Drive Diversion – Flushdyke Interchange, Dale Street, Prospect Road, Towngate, Queens Drive.
Holiday Inn – Access from A638 to Queens Drive for Holiday Inn access only.
Roundwood Industrial Estate – Access maintained.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 5th August 2024 to 13th August 2024 nightly 18.00 hours to 00.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(EDGEMOOR ROAD, HALL GREEN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 172) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for gas mains replacement
to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Edgemoor Road, Hall Green from the junction with Stoney Lane for 46 metres.
The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Edgemoor Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Stoney Lane, Marshall Avenue, Low Moor Crescent, Woodland Close, Edgemoor Road & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 19th August 2024 to 31st August 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 175) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame
& cover to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Bromley Mount, Wakefield for approximately 30 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Bromley Mount.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Sugar Lane, Belle Isle Avenue, Barnsley Road & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 20th August 2024 between 19.00 hours to 23.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever
is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(BLAKELEY GROVE, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 177) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for rigging, integration &
testing within existing telecoms site to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Blakeley Grove, Wakefield at the junction of Alverthorpe Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at
their junctions the closed length of Blakeley Grove.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 19th August 2024 to 23rd August 2024 or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(KENMORE ROAD, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 178) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole
frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Kenmore Road, Wakefield for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their
junctions the closed length of Kenmore Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Kenmore Road, Lingwell Gate Lane, Potovens Lane, Bradford A650 & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 18th August 2024 between 08.00 hours to 12.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever
is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(ALMSHOUSE LANE, NEWMILLERDAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 179) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to install high speed
internet ducting to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Almshouse Lane, Newmillerdam between numbers 22 to 42.
The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Almshouse Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Almshouse Lane, Wood Lane, Barnsley Road & vice versa. Access for residents maintained where possible.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 21st August 2024 to 23rd August 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(PARK LANE, BRETTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 181) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to install washout hydrant
to water main to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Park Lane, Bretton for approximately 10 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions
the closed length of Park Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, access maintained where possible. Road closed 24 hours.
Residents/farm & sculpture park car park access to be maintained at all times by use of road plates & no parking in front of properties adjacent to the
dig site.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 20th August 2024 to 21st August 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
