What is happening?

DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn sicrhau diogelwch y cyhoedd yn ystod achlysuron ar y Stryd Fawr.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau Stryd Dunraven, o’i chyffordd â phen deheuol Ffordd Liniaru Canol Tref Tonypandy i’w chyffordd â phen gogleddol Ffordd Liniaru Canol Tref Tonypandy.

Llwybr Amgen – ar gael ar hyd Ffordd Liniaru Canol Tref Tonypandy.

Mae cyfnod cau’r ffordd yma’n estyniad o gyfnod cau’r ffordd rhwng 7am a 4.30pm ar gyfer y Marchnadoedd Stryd yn Nhonypandy.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys, cerddwyr ac i bob eiddo lleol.

Mae disgwyl i’r ffordd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau a’r amseroedd canlynol, neu hyd nes y bydd yr achlysuron wedi dod i ben:-

• Achlysur Eisteddfod bach - rhwng 4.30pm a 6.00pm ar 2 Awst 2024.
• Achlysur Nadoligaidd - rhwng 4.30pm a 6.00pm ar 29 Tachwedd 2024.
• Achlysur y Pasg - rhwng 4.30pm a 6.00pm ar 18 Ebrill 2025.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (DUNRAVEN STREET, TONYPANDY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary in the interests of public safety during high street events.

The effect of the Order will be to close Dunraven Street, from its junction with the southern end of the Tonypandy Town Centre Relief Road and its junction with the northern end of the Tonypandy Town Centre Relief Road.

Alternative Route – available via the Tonypandy Town Centre Relief Road

These closures are an extension of the road closure that will be in place from 7am – 4:30pm for the Urban Markets in Tonypandy

Access will be maintained for pedestrians, emergency services and premises.

The closures are expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the town centre event has been completed: -

• Mini Eisteddfod Event – 4:30pm – 6:00pm on 2nd August 2024
• Christmas Event - 4:30pm – 6:00pm on 29th November 2024
• Easter Event - 4:30pm – 6:00pm on 18th April 2025
