What is happening?

The East Riding Of Yorkshire Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 (1) Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
Beverley Road, South Cave

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Beverley Road, South Cave (outside 72 Beverley Road to the side of 1 The Lea) commencing Monday 19 August 2024 to install a new electrical connection.

The road closure is necessary to enable the closure to go ahead in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 August 2024.

The alternative route for traffic affected by this closure will be via the remainder of Beverley Road, A1034, B1230, Westoby Lane, Common Road and Beverley Road. Access will be maintained for pedestrians, residents and emergency services.
