What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford intends to make the following Order in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Salford City Council (Worsley Road) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024

The Order will close Worsley Road on the junction of Worsley Road Roundabout.

The Order is necessary for essential works to be done.

Diversion route will be via Greenleach Lane - Walkden Road - 1st exit at Worsley Brow Roundabout.

The order is intended to come into operation on Monday 19th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 27th August 2024. The closure will be in place 24 hours each day.

A copy of the proposed Order and plan of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm inclusive.
