Station Road - Temporary Road Closure To Facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE STATION ROAD, MELBOURNE

WHEN: 05 August to 09 August 2024 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Station Road, Melbourne from a point approx. 1065m east of its Jct. with Main Street, for an approx. distance of 165m east.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A453 Walton Hill, Moor Lane, Main Street, Pingle Hill, Wilson Lane, Blackwell Lane, Church Street, Market Place, Chapel Street, Station Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
