B1341 ADDERSTONE HALL TO LUCKER ROAD, BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND SPEED RESTRICTION)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic and restrict the speed of vehicular traffic on that section of the B1341 Adderstone Hall to Lucker Road from it’s junction with the U2009 heading in a south westerly direction for 1,030 metres in the County of Northumberland (“the Road”).
The Order is to be effective from the 19th August 2024 until the 19th February 2025.
It is anticipated that the prohibition of the use by vehicular traffic on the Road will take place on the 19th August until 30th August 2024 between the hours of 7:30 and 17:00.
It is anticipated that the restriction of the speed of vehicular traffic from 60mph to 40mph will take place on the 19th August 2024 until 30th August 2024 between the hours of 17:00 and 7:30.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1341, the U2013, the B1342, the A1 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads namely for the resurfacing of the carriageway. To minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order, and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
