ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (CEMETERY LANE AND LOWES HILL, RIPLEY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that, on Thursday the 25th July 2024 Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on Monday the 5th August 2024 and its effect is:
TO PROHIBIT WAITING AT ANY TIME (EXCEPT THOSE DELIVERING OR COLLECTING GOODS OR LOADING AND UNLOADING):
Cemetery Lane, Ripley
South-west side
From its junction with Derby Road in a south-easterly direction, to its junction with Providence Street.
Lowes Hill, Ripley
East side
From a point 95 metres north-west of its junction with Alma Street in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 48 metres.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, at Ripley Library, 21 Grosvenor Road, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3JE during opening hours and on request by emailing place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 5th September 2024.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 25th July 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
