Kirkmoor Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?
THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH 3-1-FP20 CLITHEROE, RIBBLE VALLEY BOROUGH)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State for Transport has agreed to the above Order, which was due to expire on the 6th August, 2024, remaining in force until the 6th November, 2024, or until the works are completed within this period. The effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding over the Public Footpathindicated below:-
That part of Public Footpath 3-1-FP20 Clitheroe, Ribble Valley, from the junction of Footpath 3-1-FP19 at Point A (SD 7374 – 4226) in a generally east, south easterly direction for approximately 165 metres to the junction of Kirkmoor Road at Point B (SD 7391 – 4208).
Access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the footpath, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the footpath will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the order shall apply to emergency service vehicles or to those undertaking the works.
