Sutton Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SUTTON LANE, ARKWRIGHT TOWN
WHEN: 19 August to 27 August 2024 (19:00 to 04:00 each night).
WHERE: S44 5DN postcode, Arkwright Town from its Jct. with the A632 for a distance of 140m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works on the A632.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Sutton Lane (from point of closure), Palterton Lane, Shire Lane, Mansfield Road, B6425 Hassocky Lane, Moor Lane, Deepsick Lane, A632 Chesterfield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
