Tants Meadow - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
TANTS MEADOW, LOWER KILBURN

WHEN: 19 August to 25 October 2024
WHERE: Tants Meadow, Lower Kilburn between its Jct. with B6179 Derby Road and its Jct. with Horsley Road.
REASON: To facilitate the replacement of STW's storm sewer main.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
1 - Derby Road, Bywell Lane, Church Street, Horsley Road and vice versa.
2 - Horsley Road, Church Street, Smalley Mill Road, Coxbench Road, B6179 Derby Road and Vice Versa
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
