What is happening?

CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS DONCASTER)
SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO.) ORDER 2024


Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council propose to make an Order under the provisions of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order will be to:
(i) Introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following roads:
WARMSWORTH
LORD’S HEAD LANE which extends from its junction with Edlington Lane to a point 35m southeast of its junction
with Poplar Grove
(ii) Introduce a 40 mph speed limit on the following road:
LORD’S HEAD LANE which extends from a point 35m south of its junction with Poplar Grove for a distance of
500m in a generally south easterly direction
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the restricted roads and a statement of the Councils
reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Council Office, Civic Office, Waterdale
Doncaster between the hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm or on the City of Doncaster Council Website via the following
link http://www.doncaster.gov.uk/services/transport-streets-parking/traffic-regulation-orders or by scanning the

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to City of
Doncaster Council, Safer Roads, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BU or by email to TRO.Objections@
doncaster.gov.uk quoting reference NA/96714 not later than the 30th day of August 2024.
