C95 Grange Road - Temporary Road Closure

C95 GRANGE ROAD SHILBOTTLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C95 Grange Road Shilbottle from its junction with Lee Avenue heading in an easterly direction for a length of 50 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 19th August 2024 until the 25th August 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 19th August 2024 until the 25th August 2024 and that it will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C94, A1068, C95 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Cheviot Plant Hire, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads namely to install drainage into the carriageway.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
