THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF DURHAM
(EASINGTON, EASINGTON COLLIERY AND SOUTH HETTON) (PROHIBITION AND
RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING/UNLOADING) ORDER 2010
(AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2024
The Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 & 35 & Pt. IV of Sch. 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is To introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on: a.Stockton Road on its north-western side from a point opposite the northeastern property boundary to No.3 in a south westerly direction for a distance of 11.3 metres b.Stockton Road on its north-western side from its junction with Durham Lane in a south westerly direction for a distance of 6.2 metres c.Stockton Road on its north-western side from its junction with Durham Lane in a north easterly direction for a distance of 40.7 metres d.Stockton Road on its south-eastern side from its junction with South Side in a south westerly direction for a distance of 17.5 metres e.Stockton Road on its south-eastern side from its junction with South Side in a north easterly direction for a distance of 25.3 metres f.South Side on its northern side from its junction with Stockton Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 16.7 metres g.South Side on its southern side from its junction with Stockton Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 24 metres h.Durham Lane on its northern side from its junction with Stockton Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 29.4 metres i.Durham Lane on its southern side from its junction with Stockton Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 16 metres j.Seaside Lane on its northern side from a point 57.8 metres east of its junction with Tennyson Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 22.4 metres k.Seaside Lane on its southern side from its junction with St Nicholas Terrace in a westerly direction for a distance of 5.7 metres l.Seaside Lane on its southern side from its junction with St Nicholas Terrace in an easterly direction for a distance of 22.5 metres m.St Nicholas Terrace on its western side from its junction with Seaside Lane in a southerly direction for a distance of 2.7 metres n.St Nicholas Terrace on its eastern side from its junction with Seaside Lane in a southern direction for a distance of 2.9 metres To remove the existing ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on: Paradise Lane on its western side from a point 9 metres south-east of its junction with Seaside Lane for 4.8 metres in a north-westerly direction. All other existing restrictions currently in operation throughout these locations will remain unchanged.
