What is happening?


THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS)
(WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (No.2)
ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Portsmouth City Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effects of the Order would be as follows:
1. To introduce no waiting at any time restrictions in the following lengths of road:
FARMSIDE GARDENS
east side, from the northern boundary of properties Nos 12/24 in a northerly direction for 20 metres
MONEYFIELDS AVENUE
north-west: both sides of its junction with Redcar Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly and westerly direction;
South-east , both sides of its junction with Sidmouth Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly and westerly direction
South-east, both sides of the junction with Seaton Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly and westerly direction
North side, from its junction with Salcombe Avenue for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly and westerly direction
SALCOMBE AVENUE
both sides from its junction with Moneyfields Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction
REDCAR AVENUE
both sides from its junction with Moneyfields Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction
SEATON AVENUE
the west side, from the south-east kerbline of Moneyfields Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction;
the west side ,from the northern kerbline of Teignmouth Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction
The east side, from the south-east kerbline of Moneyfields Avenue for a distance of 22 metres in a southerly direction;
The east side from the northern kerbline of Teignmouth Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction
TEIGNMOUTH ROAD
Both sides from its junction with Sidmouth Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly and easterly direction
Both sides from its junction with Seaton Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction and easterly direction
NORMAN ROAD
from the property boundary of Number 44 and 46 Norman Road eastwards for a distance of 5 metres
TREVOR ROAD
East side, form the southern kerbline of Norman Road in a southerly direction for 5 metres
WINGFIELD ROAD
The east side, from the southern kerbline od Duke Crescent in a southerly direction for a distance of 10 metres
DUKE CRESCENT
The south side from the east kerbline of Wingfield street in south-east direction for a distance of 5 meters
LONDON AVENUE
The north side, 5 metres of waiting restrictions outside Stamshaw Infant School
WARREN AVENUE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE ROAD
the south-west side; from a point 3 metres north of its junction with Warren Avenue for its entire length
north-east side: from a point 3 metres north of its junction with Warren Avenue for a distance of 3 metres in a northerly direction
HEWETT ROAD
The north side; alongside the garages, opposite Vernon Court for a length of 16 metres
MANOR PARK AVENUE
North-west and west side; from the eastern building line of property Nos. 2 Jordan Court in an easterly and northerly direction to the boundary of Nos. 2/3 Jordan Court
FARLINGTON ROAD
West side: extension of the existing no waiting at any time restriction from 5 metres to 7 metres to protect the tactile pavement opposite The Lord Chichester Pub
COLERIDGE ROAD
The north-west side: from the property boundary of Nos. 35/37 Coleridge Road for a distance of 10 in a north-westerly direction
The north-east: from the eastern kerbline of Bridges Avenue for a distance of 5 metres in a north-easterly direction
PRINSTEAD CRESCENT
Both sides - south end: from the eastern kerbline of Nutbourne Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction
Both sides - northern end: from the north-east kerbline of Nutbourne Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction
NUTBOURNE ROAD
Both sides: south from the property boundary of the Nos. 14/16 to the property boundary of the Nos. 10/12
from the boundary of Nos. 30/32 to the north-east kerb-line of Prinsted Crescent for a distance of 10 meters
from the north-east kerbline of Prinsted Crescent for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 92841767.
Persons wishing to object to these proposals must do so by sending their representations to TROteam@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or by post to Aleksandra Malvern, TRO Team, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Portsmouth PO1 2NE, quoting ref P025-24 within 21 days of the date of this Notice, (i.e. by 21.08. 2024) stating the grounds for the objection.
