U1057 Linkeylaw Junction To Mousen Junction - Temporary Road Closure

U1057 LINKEYLAW JUNCTION TO MOUSEN JUNCTION BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1057 Linkeylaw Junction To Mousen Junction Belford from its junction with the B6348 heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 3088 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 12th August 2024 until the 30th August 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 12th August 2024 until the 16th August 2024 between the hours of 09:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U2042, B6348 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out mole ploughing for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
