Woodman Ln - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of Woodman Lane, Leck for approximately 10 metres either side of the disused rail bridge.
2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative daily between 0800 and 1700 hours from Monday 12th August 2024 until Wednesday 14th August 2024 or until completion of the works within this period.
4. Pedestrian access will always be maintained.
5. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:-
Woodman Lane from the entrance to Fraser Hall Car Park Towards its junction with A6 Long Lovel;
Woodman Lane – A6 Long Level – Todgill Road – Green Lane – Church Lane – Woodman Lane.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow de-vegetation works to be carried out.
