TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 23/08/2024 and have a maximum duration of 1 month.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 weeks.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow MVKelly Ltd to undertake resurfacing & various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Long St, Aylestone Ln, Stonesby Ave, Saffron Ln, & Balby Rd & vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 23/08/2024 and have a maximum duration of 6 months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water Ltd safely undertake pipe renewal works in the carriageway & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Humberstone Ln, Herricks Ave, Hill Rise & vice versa.

TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The effect of which will be to allow for the closure/restrictions of those lengths of roads as specified in Schedules 1 & 2 to this Notice.
No speed limit imposed by this order applies to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations. The Order will come into force on 05/08/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to one month.
