Highways Notice 

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Wheatley Road, Crewe
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Wheatley Road, Crewe – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Lime Tree Avenue, Elm Drive, Sydney Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on 26 August 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 September 2024.

Public Rights of Way Notice

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S15 – TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS
Public Footpath No. 14 (part) Parish of Bunbury
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 25th July 2025. 
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following: 
That length of Public Footpath No. 14 Bunbury which commences OS grid reference SJ 5634 5757 and runs in a generally west south westerly direction and then a south south easterly direction to OS grid reference SJ 5630 5751.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from the likelihood of danger due to construction works. 
An alternative route is available on site via Oak Gardens.
