What is happening?

CYNGOR SIR DDINBYCH LON CAE GLAS, LLANBEDR RHYBUDD O ORCHYMYN GWAHARDD TRAFFIG DRWODD DROS DRO DEDDF RHEOLEIDDIO TRAFFIG FFYRDD 1984-ADRAN 14(1)

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy'n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio Lon Cae Glas, Llanbedr yn Sir Ddinbych, sy'n ymestyn o'i chyffordd a'r A494 am bellter o tua 25 metr.

Mae'n rhaid cau'r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso'r gwaith o atgyweirio prif bibell ddwr, a wneir gan Morrison Utility Services ar ran Dwr Cymru.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y llwybr amgen ar hyd yr A494, Tafarn y Gelyn, Tafarn y Gelyn at Pen Barras Lodge, cyffordd Lon Cae Glas a Lon Mynydd at faes parcio Moel Famau gyferbyn a Pen Barras Lodge.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 5 Awst 2024 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i'r gwaith barhau tan tua 9 Awst 2024.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL LON CAE GLAS, LLANBEDR NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using Lon Cae Glas Llanbedr in the County of Denbigh extending from its junction with A494 for a distance of approximately 25 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate a water main repair by Morrison Water Services on behalf of Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be via A494, Tafarn y Gelyn, Tafam y Gelyn to Pen Barras Lodge, junction of Lon Cae Glas and Lon Mynydd to Mole Famau car park Opposite Pen Barras Lodge.

The Order is effective from 5th August 2024 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 9th August 2024.
