ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Silver Street and Kingshill, Nailsea, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists Date coming into force: 5 August 2024 - Ref: T24-35

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order was required because of carriageway resurfacing works and will become operative on 5 August 2024, anticipated to be of 15 days in duration between 8am and 5pm. The maximum period for the closures is 18 months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - Silver Street full extent. Kingshill from its junction with Silver Street to its junction with Watery Lane.

Alternative routes - Silver Street - Kingshill (part unaffected), North Street, Queens Road, Station Road, Nowhere Lane, Nailsea Park, High Street, Stock Way North and vice-versa.

Station Road, Nailsea, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists Date coming into force: 27 August 2024 - Ref: T24-37

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of carriageway resurfacing works and will become operative on 27 August 2024, anticipated to be of 6 working days in duration between 8am and 5pm. The maximum period for the closures is 18 months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - Station Road, Nailsea from its junction with Bucklands Drive to outside Golden Valley School.

Alternative routes - Nailsea Park, High Street, Bristol Road, Clevedon Road, Barrow Street, Main Road, Farleigh Road, Station Road, Bucklands Batch and vice-versa.

FINAL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION

ORDERS 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:

Lye Hole Lane, Redhill, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024 Date coming into force: 19 August 2024 -Ref: SW24.25-101

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid to trenching and overhead for new supply. This will become operative on the 19 August 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 4 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Church Road, Debeccas Lane, The Breaches, Easton-in-Gordano, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024 Date coming into force: 19 August 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-102

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to locate and clear blockages. This will become operative on the 19 August 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the each of the measures are in force

Schedule - Church Road from Beechwood Road to Debeccas Lane. Debeccas Lane from Church Road to Priory Road and The Breaches from Church Road to outside property number 67.

Claverham Road, Claverham, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024 Date coming into force: 13 August 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-120

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to replace a pole. This will become operative on the 13 August 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 8.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
