What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Park Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its property known as The Town Hall to its property known as The Guide Hut to enable Wales and West Utilities to carry a disconnection and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 19 August 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 22 August 2024. B) B3098 (Part), Bratton; from its property known as No.32 Westbury Road to its property known as No.40 Westbury Road to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out replace poles and associated works. Solid square to symbolise light diversion route. High siders to be marked on signs. Alternative route high sided vehicles via B3098 (unaffected length) - C40 - A360 -A361 - A350 - Bitham Park - B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route for all other vehicles via B3098 (unaffected length) - A360 - A361 - A350 - Bitham Park - B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 August 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. C) C155 (Part), Lacock; from its property known as The Rising Sun Public House to its property known as Griffin Farm to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out drainage works and associated works. Alternative route via C155 (unaffected length) - A342 - A3102 - C165 -C155 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 August 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30 for 2 days. D) Thingley Cottage Farm North to C150 Crossroads, Corsham; from its junction with Lacock Road South to T Junction at Thingley Cottage Farm to its junction with C150 to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out road crossing to provide electricity connection for new site and associated works. Alternative route via C150 - Lacock Road South to T Junction at Thingley Cottage Farm and vice versa. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: E) C169 (Part), Atworth; from its junction with C231 to its junction with C212 to enable Openreach to carry out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via C169 (unaffected length) - A365 - B3109 - C169 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 August 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. F) C150 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Ladbrook Lane for a distance of approximately 825m in a westerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out underground cabling works for fibre upgrade and associated works. This Order will come into operation on 29 July 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 2 days. G) B3098 (Part), West Lavington; from outside its property known as East Sands for a distance of approximately 150m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out replace faulty meter and other associated works. Alternative route via B3098 (unaffected length) - A342 - A361 - A350 - B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 29 July 2024 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. H) A361 (Part), Trowbridge and Hilperton; from its roundabout junction with The Halve to its roundabout junction with Elizabeth Way. I) Footway off Hilperton Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Hilperton Road to its junction with Castley Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out upgrade zebra crossing and associated works. Alternative route A via A361 (unaffected length) -A350 - A363 - A361 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route B via Hulbert Close - Hilperton Road and vice versa. H) This Order will come into operation on 29 July 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 12:00 midday for 1 day. I) This Order will come into operation on 29 July 2024 and the closure will be required 24 hours a day until 09 August 2024. For further information please contact Wiltshire Council on 0300 456 0100. J) Berryfield Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 to its junction with Christchurch Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out amendments to the junction and associated works. Alternative route via Berryfield Road (unaffected length) - Christchurch Road - B3109 - A363 and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 02 April 2024 will now recommence on 29 July 2024 and the closure will be required until 23 August 2024. For further information please contact Wiltshire Council on 01225 713496. Orders A) to I) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order J) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to Temporarily close to all traffic: A) Eden Vale Road Southbound Carriageway, Westbury; from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Leigh Road. B) Station Road Southbound Carriageway (Part), Westbury; from its junction with Eden Vale Road to its junction with Haynes Road. And to introduce a temporary No Waiting at Any Time restriction on the following lengths of road: C) Eden Vale Road (Part), Westbury - west side - from its junction with Redland Lane to its junction with Leigh Road. D) Eden Vale Road (Part), Westbury - east side - from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Matravers Close. E) Station Road (Part), Westbury - east side - from its junction with Eden Vale Road to its junction with Haynes Road. And to temporarily introduce a 20mph speed restriction on the following length of road: F) Eden Vale Road, Westbury; from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Leigh Road. G) Station Road (Part), Westbury; from its junction with Haynes Road to its junction with Eden Vale Road to enable Wales & West Utilities Ltd to carry out gas mains upgrade scheme. Alternative route A southbound: via Leigh Road - Warminster Road - Haynes Road - Station Road. Alternative route B southbound: via Station Road (unaffected length) - Rosefield Way - The Mead - A350. The restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 24 August 2024 and the restrictions will be required 24 hours a day until 08 November 2024. The phases will run consecutively and will not overlap. These will come into place after the road closure of Eden Vale Road ends. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. PROHIBITION OF STOPPING, ON STREET PARKING AND CLEARWAYS) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2019 (AMENDMENT NO.5) ORDER 2024 2. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (DEVIZES ROAD, HILPERTON) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2024 (Both previously advertised as 2023)

Notice is hereby given that on 17 July 2024 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Order 1 under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is as follows: Order 1 - To amend the following restrictions in the Parishes of West Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2019 by introducing new Map Schedule No. EP31 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at any time on Devizes Road, Hilperton - both sides - from its junction with Stourton Park for a distance of 12 metres in a westerly direction. Order 2

- To introduce a Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on Devizes Road, Hilperton - form its junction with Stourton Park for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction. A copy of the Orders can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@wiltshire.gov.uk. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 29 July 2024.
