Lynmouth Avenue - Temporary Road Closure For A Grab Wagon And Reinstatement Support Vehicles
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (LYNMOUTH AVENUE, NORTH REDDISH) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which is to introduce a a Temporary Road Closure at Lynmouth Avenue, from 18m north of the junction with Rowsley Grove in a notherly direction approx.25m whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road. This Order is necessary to allow access for a grab wagon and reinstatement support vehicles. It is anticipated that the maximum duration of the works will be 5 days. Alternative routes will be provided via:- Rowsley Grove, Norman Grove, Rupert Street, Broadstone Road, Lynmouth Avenue, and vice versa. This Order is to come into operation on the 19 August 2024 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
