ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

The East Sussex (U6641 Knights Lane, Westfield)

(Temporary Prohibition  of Traffic) Order 2024 No.2

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Temporary Road Closure

Knights Lane – from the junction with A28 Brede Road to the junction with U6962 Doleham Lane.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A28 Brede Road – U6962 Doleham Lane and vice versa.

The Order commences 15 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. The East Sussex (C295 Houghton Green Lane, Playden)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 No.3

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Temporary Road Closure

Houghton Green Lane – from the junction with C296 Military Road to the junction with U6414 Houghton Lane.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C295 Houghton Green Lane – A268 Rye Road, Rye Hill – C296 Military Road and vice versa.

The Order commences 12 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 12 and 30 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road; Temporary Road Closure

Shoreham Lane – from the junction with C19 Rock Hill to the junction with C20 Village Street.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C19 Rock Hill, Bodiam Road – B2165 Northiam Road – C97 Adams Lane, Yewtree Hill – C979 Tufton Lane – C20 Village Street and vice versa.

The Order commences 12 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 12 and 28 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (B2204 Catsfield Road/The Stream, Ninfield/Catsfield)

(Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2024

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the following lengths of road to a speed not exceeding 30 mph:-

Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit

Catsfield Road/The Stream – from the junction with A269 The Green to the junction with U7699 Skinners Lane.

The Order commences 29 July 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated the speed restriction will be in place between 29 and 31 July 2024.

The East Sussex (U7114 Moons Hill, Ninfield)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

To allow Aquatech Drain Services Ltd to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Temporary Road Closure

Moons Hill – from the junction with U7700 Manchester Road to the junction with U7699 Marlpits Lane.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7700 Manchester Road – U7699 Marlpits Lane and vice versa.

The Order commences 29 July 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 29 and 31 July 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (U6955 Bluemans Lane, Westfield)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,

as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Temporary Road Closure

Bluemans Lane – from the junction with U6955 Sprays Lane to the junction with A21 Kent Street.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U6955 Sprays Lane – C22 Harts Green – U6954 New England Lane – A21(T) Kent Street and vice versa.

The Order commences 31 July 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 31 July and 30 September 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (U6968 Watermill Lane, Pett) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

To allow Southern Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,

as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Temporary Road Closure

Watermill Lane – from the junction with C23 Pett Road to The Cedars.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C23 Pett Road – U6418 Pannel Lane, Hog Hill – U6966 Windmill Lane, Workhouse Lane – A259(T) Main Road – U6968 Watermill Lane and vice versa.

The Order commences 29 July 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 29 July and 2 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Temporary Road Closure

Shoreham Lane – from the junction with C620 Dagg Lane to the junction with C19 Bodiam Road.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C620 Dagg Lane – C19 Bodiam Road and vice versa.

The Order commenced 27 February 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 29 and 31 July 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (A2101 St Helens Road, Hastings) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,

as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Temporary Road Closure

St Helens Road – from the junction with A21 Sedlescombe Road North to the junction with U3040 King Edward Avenue.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A2101 St Helens Road – U3029 Parkstone Road – U3008 Hillside Road – B2093 The Ridge, Conquest roundabout, The Ridge – A2100 The Ridge, Junction Road – A21 Sedlescombe Road North and vice versa.

The Order commenced 25 March 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 29 July and 3 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (C213 Sheepstreet Lane, Etchingham)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Temporary Road Closure

Sheepstreet Lane – from the junction with C213 Church Lane to Fleetwood.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C83 Myskyns Road – C212 Battenhurst Road, Shrub Lane – A265 Etchingwood Road, Straight Mile, High Street – U6196 Burgh Hill – U6895 Fysie Lane and vice versa.

The Order commenced 7 August 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 29 and 31 July 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (C213 Ludpit Lane/Willards Hill, Robertsbridge)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,

as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Temporary Road Closure

Ludpit Lane/Willards Hill – from the junction of U6198 Fontridge Lane to the junction with C18 Brightling Road.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C213 Oxenbridge Lane – A265 High Street, Haremere Hill, Station Road – A21(T) London Road, Silverhill, Northbridge Street roundabout – C18 Northbridge Street, High Street, Station Road, Brightling Road and vice versa.

The Order commenced 11 March 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 29 July and 16 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (C18 Station Road/High Street, Robertsbridge)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,

as amended, which will temporarily close the following lengths of road;

Temporary Road Closures

Station Road – from the junction with C18 Brightling Road to the junction with C18 High Street.

Diversion via C18 High Street, Northbridge Street – A21(T) Northbridge Street roundabout, Silverhill, London Road – A265 Station Road, Haremere Hill, High Street, Straight Mile, Etchingham Road, High Street – C212 School Hill, Kings Hill Road, Perrymans Lane – C603 Sheepshaw Lane – C18 Long Reach, The Street, Rectory Hill, Brightling Road and vice versa.

High Street – at the junction with C18 Station Road.

Diversion via C18 High Street, Northbridge Street – A21(T) Northbridge Street roundabout, Robertsbridge bypass – C18 George Hill and vice versa.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic as set out above.

The Order commences 29 July 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 29 July and 30 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.
