Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
LILLINGTON AVENUE, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Kenilworth Road and Lillington Road roundabout.
Reason for Order: To enable installation of new surface water separation mains.
Order Commences: 31 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Lillington Road, Leicester Lane, Leamington Road, Ryton Road, Oxford Road, A423, A45, London Road, A45, Rowley Road, Stonebridge Highway, A45, A46, Warwick Bypass, A46, Kenilworth Road and vice versa.

LILLINGTON AVENUE, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Binswood Street/Rugby Road roundabout and Kenilworth Road crossroads (inclusive of the crossroads).
Reason for Order: To enable works to install new Surface Water Separation mains and make the associated connections. Please Note: The works will be phased with regard to the current closure east of the crossroads.
Order Commences: 31 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Kenilworth Road, Leamington Road, A46 Warwick Bypass, Coventry Road, Coten End, Emscote Road, Rugby Road and vice versa. Contractor: For STW, Routeone TM, Tel: 01212 894 222.
PUBLIC FOOTWAY/CYCLEWAY EUROPA WAY/QUEENSWAY, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Footpath Cycleway closed to ALL traffic from its junction with the national cycle route 41 to its junction with Queensway.
Reason for Order: To enable building of a gabion wall & associated works.
Order Commences: 1 August 2024 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Cycleway from Myton Road to Westlea Road and vice versa. Contractor: For WCC Design Services, C R Reynolds Ltd, Tel: 07546 428 279.
PATTENS ROAD, WARWICK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install new water connection.
Order Commences: 31 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 2 August 2024.
Access & Diversion: Millbank, Greville Road, The Chantry, Pattens Road and vice versa. Contractor: Go Traffic Management, Tel: 01158 965 832.
KITES NEST LANE, BEAUSALE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Access to telegraph poles to provide fibre cabling, closed 09.30hrs15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 29 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 29 July 2024.
Access & Diversion: Kites Nest Lane, Hawkes Barn Lane, Beausale Lane and vice versa. Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.
WESTLEA ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Cable installation works.
Order Commences: 1 August 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 August 2024.
Access & Diversion: Westlea Road, Lee Road, Bury Road and vice versa. Contractor: National Grid, Tel: 08006 783 105.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
GUY’S CROSS PARK ROAD, WARWICK
Order Effect: Guy’s Cross Park Road will be closed to vehicular traffic in two phases as follows: PHASE 1 5 - 19 August 2024 – Road Closed between Coventry Road and Galveston Close, Prohibited Right Turn from Coventry Road. Temporary suspension of one-way traffic flow on its other junction with Coventry Road. PHASE 2 20 August 2024 - 1 September 2024 Road Closed between Coventry Road and Galveston Close. Temporary suspension of one-way traffic flow on its other junction with Coventry Road.
Reason for Order: To enable junction construction works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 5 August 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Vehicular traffic access maintained via a one-way suspension on Guy’s Cross Park Rd and use of 3-way temporary traffic lights. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM MASTERS ROAD TO END OF FOOTPATH, WHITNASH
Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.
Reason for Order: Works for new electricity supply.
Order Commences: 14 August 2024 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 August 2024.
Access & Diversion: Brunswick Street, Masters Road, Langley Road and vice versa. Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 01773 305 021.
PICKARD STREET, WARWICK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable repair to channel and benching in manhole.
Order Commences: 12 August 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 August 2024.
Access & Diversion: No available diversion.
Contractor: For STW, Customer Solutions Plus, Tel: 07380 549 482.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
