Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
B2162 School Hill, Lamberhurst, TN3 8HY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2162 School Hill, Lamberhurst, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Holly House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 School Hill, B2162 Horsmonden Road, A21 Forstal Farm Roundabout, A21 Lamberhurst Bypass, B2169 Hastings Road, B2162 Spray Hill, B2162 High Street, B2162 The Broadway, B2162 School Hill and vice versa.
Bramble Reed Lane, Matfield (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow fire hydrant replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bramble Reed Lane, Matfield, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Foxella. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bramble Reed Lane, B2160 Maidstone Road, Chestnut Lane, Foxhole Lane and vice versa.
Dingleden, Benenden (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dingleden, Benenden, on or after 9th August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of B2086 Rolvenden Road to Woodcock Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2086 Rolvenden Road, B2086 The Street, Iden Green Road, Standen Street, Woodcock Lane and vice versa.
Hawkenbury Road, Frant (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hawkenbury Road, Frant, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Palmers Lodge to Hunters Lodge, between the hours of 09:30 and 16:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hawkenbury Road, Benhall Mill Road, Forest Road, Boundary Road, Hawkenbury Road and vice versa.
Hog Hole Lane, Lamberhurst, TN3 8BN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hog Hole Lane, Lamberhurst, on or after 21st August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Broomfield and Maitlands. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hog Hole Lane, B2100 The Slade, B2169 The Down, B2169 Furnace Lane, Neills Road, Hog Hole Lane and vice versa.
Lower Green Road, Rusthall, TN3 0NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Green Road, Rusthall, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 131. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lower Green Road, Etherington Hill, Speldhurst Road, A26 St Johns Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A264 Mount Ephraim, A264 Bishops Down, A264 Langton Road, Coach Road, Rusthall Road, Lower Green Road and vice versa.
Marden Road, Cranbrook (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Marden Road, Cranbrook, on or after 7th August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Thie Cheerey to the junction of Colliers Green Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Marden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, Colliers Green Road and vice versa.
Oak Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN2 3AL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Oak Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 6th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Brook Road and Sandhurst Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Oak Road, Brook Road, Sandhurst Road, Oak Road and vice versa.
Speldhurst Road & Lampington Row, Langton Green, TN3 0JE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & NO LEFT TURN RESTRICTION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new electric connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Speldhurst Road & Lampington Row, Langton Green, on or after 19th August 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
Speldhurst Road will be closed between the junction of Lampington Row to Little Stonewall. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There will be a No Left Turn restriction on Lampington Row on the junction with Speldhurst Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Speldhurst Road, Langton Road, Speldhurst Hill, Etherington Hill, Speldhurst Road, A26 St. John’s Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A264 Mount Ephraim, A264 Bishops Down, A264 Langton Road, The Green, Speldhurst Road and vice versa.
