Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
B2026 Main Road, Edenbridge, TN8 6JA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of remedial works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2026 Main Road, Edenbridge, on or after 19th August 2024 for up to 1 night between 20.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside “Poplars”.
The alternative route is via B2026 Main Road, Swan Lane, B2027 Four Elms Road, B269 Pootings Road, B269 Spout Lane, B2026 Main Road and vice versa.
Black Eagle Close, Westerham, TN16 1SE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of SGN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Black Eagle Close, Westerham, on or after 20th August 2024 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Falcon House.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Brands Hatch Road, Fawkham, DA3 8NR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of the installation of new electricity supply, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brands Hatch Road, Fawkham, on or after 21st August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Rogers Wood Lane and Fawkham Green Road.
The alternative route is via Fawkham Road, A20 London Road, Ash Lane, South Ash Road, The Street, Ash Road, Chapel Wood Road, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road, Fawkham Road, Valley Road and vice versa.
Crouch House Road, Edenbridge, TN8 5LG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of bridge strengthening and repainting, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Crouch House Road, Edenbridge, on or after 24th August 2024 for up to 92 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the railway bridge.
The alternative route is via Crouch House Road, Stangrove Road, B2026 Mont St Aignan Way/Station Road/Main Road, Hilders Lane, Little Browns Lane and vice versa.
Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, BR8 8LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to Gosenhill Farm.
The alternative route is via Eynsford Road, Wested Lane, B2173 London Road/High Street, B258 Goldsel Road/Green Court Road/Broadway, Main Road and vice versa.
Fullers Hill, Seal, TN15 0EN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of the replacement of a telegraph pole, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Fullers Hill, Seal, on or after 21st August 2024 for up to 1 day between 08.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed near Tanners Cross.
Hale Oak Road, Sevenoaks Weald, TN14 6NQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hale Oak Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 19 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Brook Cottage to development site.
The alternative route is via Hale Oak Road, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Bore Place Road, Baileys Hill Road, Bowzell Green, Bowzell Road, Hale Oak Road and vice versa.
Hopgarden Lane, Sevenoaks, TN13 1PW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of the replacement of a fire hydrant, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hopgarden Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 7th August 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Christmas Croft.
The alternative route is via Grassy Lane, Burntwood Road, Ashgrove Road, Hopgarden Lane and vice versa.
NEW BARN ROAD, SWANLEY (PROHIBITION OF EASTBOUND TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because a concert is being held in Swanley Park, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting eastbound traffic on New Barn Road, Swanley, on or after 23 August 2024 for up to 1 evening between 16.00hrs and 21.30.
The alternative route is via College Road, B238 Main Road/Swanley Lane.
New Road, Hextable, BR8 7LN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Road, Hextable, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside 14 to Egerton Avenue.
The alternative route is via College Road, B258 Main Road, Egerton Avenue and vice versa.
Penshurst Road, Leigh, TN11 8HU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of drainage works to replace culvert, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Penshurst Road, Leigh, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Cinder Hill Lane to Station Hill.
The alternative route is via Penshurst Road, B2176 Station Hill, B2176 Moorden Lane, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Penshurst Lane and vice versa.
Styants Bottom Road, Seal, TN15 0ES (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Styants Bottom Road, Seal, on or after 6th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Chart Oast.
The alternative route is via Styants Bottom Road, Pillar Box Lane, A25 Maidstone Road, Watery Lane and vice versa.
Valley Road, Fawkham, DA3 8NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of sewer cleaning, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Valley Road, Fawkham, on or after 7th August 2024 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Speedgate Hill and Manor Lane.
The alternative route is via Fawkham Road, B260 Main Road, Hartley Road, Ash Road, Chapel Wood Road, Ash Road, The Street, South Ash Lane, Stansted Lane, A20, Fawkham Road, Brands Hatch Road and vice versa.
