What is happening?
BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
(LANGLEY LANE AND HEYWOOD OLD ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY ONE-WAY WORKING AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT AND LEFT TURN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily;
i. Introduce one-way working in a westerly direction along Langley Lane, from its junction with Knight Crescent (westerly junction) to its junction with Heywood Old Road, in so far as vehicles will not be permitted to travel along Langley Lane in an easterly direction from its junction with Heywood Old Road to its junction with Knight Crescent (westerly junction),
ii. Prohibit vehicles from undertaking a right turn manoeuvre from Heywood Old Road onto Langley Lane,
iii. Prohibit vehicles from undertaking a left turn manoeuvre from Heywood Old Road onto Langley Lane.
The alternative route for vehicles wishing to travel along Langley Lane in an easterly direction is via Heywood Old Road, Manchester Road, Queen Elizabeth Way, Middleton Road, Hollin Lane and Langley Lane.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of a foul rising main and installation of an electrical cable within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 07:30 hours on 8th August 2024 until 19:00 hours on 22nd August 2024.
(BOWNESS ROAD AND WYTHBURN ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along;
i. Bowness Road, from its junction with Windermere Road to its junction with Broomfield Crescent,
ii. Wythburn Road, for its entire length,
The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 09.00 hours until 16.00 hours each day from the 29th July 2024 until 19th August 2024 as required.
Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.
(KINGSWAY, KENYON LANE, LEVER WALK AND BIRCHWOOD ROAD, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along;
i. Kingsway, from its junction with Andover Avenue/Mainway East (Roundabout) to its junction with Hardfield Road/Mount Road (Roundabout),
ii. Kenyon Lane, for its entire length,
iii. Lever Walk, for its entire length,
iv. Birchwood Road, from its junction with Kenyon Lane to its junction with Monmouth Street
The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from the 27th July 2024 until 17th August 2024 as required.
Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.
(CHERWELL AVENUE, CLEMSHAW CLOSE, MARGARET STREET & LYN GROVE, HEYWOOD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along;
i. Cherwell Avenue, for its entire length,
ii. Clemshaw Close, for its entire length,
iii. Margaret Street, for its entire length,
iv. Lyn Grove, for its entire length,
The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from the 1st August 2024 until 22nd August 2024 as required
Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.
(MAGDALA STREET AND WOLSEY STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along;
i. Magdala Street, for its entire length,
ii. Wolsey Street, for its entire length,
The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from the 31st July 2024 until 21st August 2024 as required.
Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.
(NOWELL ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and waiting at any time along Nowell Road, for its entire length.
The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from the 31st July 2024 until 21st August 2024 as required.
Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.
