TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS CROMWELL LANE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Cromwell Lane from its junction with Westwood Heath Road to its junction with Hodgetts Lane between the hours of 9:30am until 5:30pm.
The Order will come into effect on at 9:30 hours on Friday 9th August 2024 and is required to allow Virgin Media to carry out remedial re-instatement works safely on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Monday 12th August 2024.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Cromwell Lane.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS BURNABY ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Burnaby Road on a rolling basis as detailed in the below schedule.
The Order would come into effect at 08:00 hours on Monday 5th August 2024 and is required to allow a Lead removal service to take place safely on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 18.00 hours on Sunday 15th September 2024.
The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Burnaby Road.

Schedule – Rolling Road Closures
• Burnaby Road from its junction with Catesby Road to its junction with Treherne Road – estimated duration of 3 weeks, from 5th August to 25th August 2024.
• Burnaby Road from its junction with Treherne Road to its junction with Beake Road – estimated duration of 1 week, from 26th August until 1st September 2024.
• Burnaby Road from its junction with Beake road to its junction with Sadler Road – estimated duration of 2 weeks from 2nd September to 15th September.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS LINKS ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Links Road.
The Order would come into effect at 07.00 hours on 05 August 2024 and is required to enable the installation of new traffic lights and associated works on Links Road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 00.01 hours on 16th August 2024.
The road would be closed or restricted on a number of occasions for the various durations.
Diversion routes would be sign posted where appropriate and access to premises maintained wherever possible except when works is directly in front of a property.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to the closed section of Links Road.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS WELLINGTON STREET, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Wellington Street.
The Order would come into effect at 07.00 hours on 07 August 2024 and is required to enable the carrying out of carriageway resurfacing, repairs and associated works on Wellington Street.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 00.01 hours on 09 August 2024.
The road would be closed or restricted on a number of occasions for the various durations.
Diversion routes would be sign posted where appropriate and access to premises maintained wherever possible except when works is directly in front of a property.

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

TEMPORARY PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY/FOOTPATH CLOSURES FP GRESWOLD CLOSE FROM NO 49 TO GRAVEL HILL AND FP GRESWOLD CLOSE FROM SIDE OF NO 2 TO NO 37, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be a closure of the length of footpath detailed in the Schedule below (when appropriate signage is in place).
The Order will come into operation at 00.01 hours on Tuesday 6th August 2024, and is required to enable Virgin Media to safely install new ducting and chambers on the said Footpaths.
The maximum duration of this Order is six (6) months but it is expected that the works will be completed by Tuesday 13th August 2024.
Alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be as signed on site.

NOTICE OF MAKING CITY OF COVENTRY (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2005
(NEW UNION STREET CAR PARK) (VARIATION) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Coventry City Council, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, has made the above order (“the Order”), the effect of which is to add New Union Street car park to the City of Coventry (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2005 (as amended) (‘the OSPO’). The Order will come into effect on Monday 19 August 2024 (being the opening date of the facility).
New Union Street surface car park is a new facility located on a site to the south of New Union Street at the junction with Cheylesmore and Friars Road. It is intended that New Union Street car park be managed by Coventry City Council for public use on a long stay, Pay & Display basis.
The car park has capacity for 82 cars.
All other details contained in the OSPO will remain unchanged.
A copy of this Notice, the Statement of Reasons, the sealed Order and identifying plans (if any) may be inspected on the Council’s website and at the Council House reception during normal office hours.
